Day 8- Finally going home..

We got up in the morning..had a hard time sleeping cos of the rat in the rooom. *boo*

We ate a budget breakfast- 47B for the both of us!food from the 24hr minimart =) hee cos we din wanna change anymore Baht, so we tried surviving on our remaining 400plus B for the rest of the day.

the beach chairs cost 200B to sit, so we ended up juz sitting on the sand. And the locals offering all kinds of services-massage/manicure/water activities will be asking whether u wan any of them. Followed by others who are selling clothes/hats/balls etc.A bit too much "touting" I felt..=(

The doggie at our guesthouse. Our previous guesthouse also had one..it was a bulldog den.

We checked out of our room at 1300, Thai time and went on to look for a place for lunch. After walking ard Patong and bugged by the taxi uncles along the roads, we ended up at Jungceylong food court for lunch. The lunch was q budget and affordable as compared to the restaurants outside. 190 B for the both of us.

My boy ate a sundae from BK, Jungceylon after our lunch =) Costs us 15 B (less den 1 SGD)

Our luggages spread on the table..waiting for 1700, so dat we can get on our minivan to the airport. The ride to the airport was damnnn fast..and the van actually scratched agst another car while SPEEDING. Everyone else in the minivan was in constant fear..haa.

After checking in, we had our dinner at one of the cafes in the airport and we used up almost all the Baht we had. We were left with 14B- we need one more baht to have enough for some cream puff. haha. my boy wanted to add rice..but too bad a bowl of rice costs 40B while we only had 14B. The cafe staff had a hard time trying to understand what i was asking for. Think they are more familiar with telling me how much it costs.

Waiting for our flight gate to open...

Finally..home on the jetplane. =) but with all the turbulence during the flight..

Im glad that i was finally home..the cocktails and beach were great. but not the ppl and the pricey stuffs. They look at tourists like a gold mine..trying to quote us high prices whenever we asked for prices of the items. Think it marred the whole trip , at least for me..=( but thank goodness i was with my boy, keeping me up whenever i felt upset over some stuffs.
*Home Sweet Home*
