Phuket Day 3- "James Bond Island " Trip

My boy all ready for our trip! Our minivan came to pick us up from our guesthouse at 10am. man..it was good weather! and sunny!

We were brought to the jetty where we took the speed boat to the Phang Nga Bay/ National Park. "There are a total of 142 islands at this bay and 100 of them does not have names." As mentioned by the guide.

the driver of the speedboat brought us near the limestone forms to have a closer look at the formations.
We were then brought to the famous James Bond Island (Named after James Bond was taken on this island.)

Taking photos with the famous "stone"!

The only island which has ppl staying is Panyee Island. We had our dinner there with the rest of the tourists in the same boat. It was a rather awkward session thou..with ppl whom we dun really noe. We had a chat with one of the couples who were from Johannesburg, S. Africa. When we mentioned dat we were from SG, they were teasing that we are so "in order" and they even praised our zoo! haa ..when they have a safari back home.

After lunch, the guide brought us for a canoeing session! This time, im not the one canoeing but the local =)

The experience was quite cool =) going underneath the limestone formation. We had to lie really low at times to be able to go thru the "caves". The stalagmites and stalacites formed v interesting formations. And the caves were named "Anaconda cave" etc cos of these formations which resembles the real thing.
And after this island, my camera's battery went flat! *boo!* so no photos for our last island where we juz stayed there to relax..swim..and play!
Then we made our way back to our guesthouse to bathe and get ready for our seafood dinner!

tom yam..fish with fried cashew nuts!(oo i love it) and fried morning glory aka kang kong.

and beer!
