Have Mercy, Weather

The weather is terrible to the max! It was so freaking hot yesterday afternoon during trg dat I really felt like I had a heat stroke. It was as if the moment I close my eyes and let go, i'll really faint.

This morning, our trg was earlier. Hence, it wasnt dat hot. But as the time approached 10plus ..woo..the heat started diffusing through the skin.

Guess it has been the heaty stuffs which i have been indulging on dat has worsened the outbreak on my face. shooz..and I cant remember when was the last time i had such nasty outbreaks. Maybe when I was still undergoing puberty? Plus the weather..and that I have been under the sun for the whole of this week. sigh...ugly me..

Day 3 as Official

First Time Race Official!

My first time as a race official. I thought my job was q a crucial one " Place Judge"! Along with the teachers from other schools, I was positioned on the pontoon next to the finishing line. It gave me the best view of the race.i thought.

The feelings of being an official, compared to a competitor was totally different! It was q fun being out there and catching the competitors coming into their lanes.

I got quite bored @ some points and started taking photos! Oh and I had a walkie-talkie with me so dat I cld correspond with the starters and the recorders. one of my colleagues even commented dat she kept hearing my voice. =)

Trainings

Tmr will be the beginning of another round of 530am trainings. Last week was tiring cos of the new schedule. Hopefully this week, our bodies would have adjusted slightly to this new schedule.

It's gonna be another long day for me tmr. And hopefully I get to MacRitchie on the correct route tmr! haha

Thoughts

I guess having a car gives a lot of luxury to the tired and hungry soul.

With my car, Im able to get home from kallang in 15 minutes, travelling via the super smooth KPE. One straight rd and datz it!

With my car, im able to get to school after trg in 20-30minutes time (longer if there's a jam @ eng neo)

With my car, im able to go to places other den hougang or punggol to have dinner. Yesterday i was finally able to get to Northpoint's Jap food street haha. They have q a variety of jap food but I must say..the food is slightly pricey. I had omelette rice with beef patty ( the beef is yummy =)) and my boy had the ramen. The ramen soup base was q nice..comparable to what they offer in jap restaurants' but definitely a smaller serving.




The stall selling bento had a long queue and many newspaper cuttings pasted all over it. There was another stall selling rice burgers.

Rice burgers ain't common in singapore's food court.I've only seen them @ MOS burger, so I thot it was quite a fresh idea =)

The queues move relatively fast and there were ample seats. Yummy jap food, despite the price. I was q satisfied with my visit. =)

Sunday

Encountered a "small man" dis morning. Was in a rush and drove into sdba the "illegal" manner, so some "small man" went in to tell the whole world. And got the authorities to come and gave me a huge lecture on dangerous driving. While he walked away with a smirk on his face. I knew instantly dat it was him. No respect for this "small man"..who go ard people's back talking bout others. If u have something unhappy with me, u come and tell me straight. If im really in the wrong, i will apologize and do the necessary "recoveries". I wanted to confront him after the trials this morning, but he juz wasnt ard. I admit that I was the one in the wrong but he cld have told me straight into my face.

I wonder what he teach his trainees.. But i hope he guide them to the right path.
